Ken Hamaguchi graduated from Tama Art University with a major in Japanese painting in 1997.

While primarily working in illustration, he also debuted as an artist in 2008 with his solo exhibition "Black, Sutras, and Others" (Takahashi Collection Kagurazaka), and mainly creates paintings based on pop culture and subculture, such as music.

Recent solo exhibitions include "Maybe, TV's Guts?" (WISH LESS gallery, Tokyo, 2021), "Tokyo Hakkkei 2020" (un petit GARAGE, Tokyo), and "PICK YOUR GOD 2020" (WISH LESS gallery, Tokyo).
